Race Day

We will run OPEN setups

100% fuel

There will be 1 fast repair

Cautions will be on

Practice will be 50 minutes long

Qualifying will consist of 2 laps and will have 5 minutes to complete them.

All drivers must be present for the drivers meeting immediatley after qualifying.  If you miss the drivers meeting you will be given an eol penatly to start the race.

There will be NO Eol pentaly given to any driver to start the race.  Where you qualify is where you will start.

The pole sitter for the race has lane choice to start the race, and has to start on the green flag. Failure to do so will result in a black flag which will be served under green.  There will be no warning.

On any restart the leader may go anytime after the pace car goes down pit road. Leader of the race still has lane choice.

The first car a lap down will recieve a lucky dog(wave by) when a caution comes out.  If that driver was invovled in the caution he/she will not recieve the lucky dog, and then no lucky dog will be given.  Lucky dogs will be given when the pit road opens for the lap down cars. (So the lucky dog driver can pit with the other lapped down car and then will be given a wave by once they completed their pit stop.

Points System

Points will follow the NASCAR Sprint Cup points system.

1 point for a lap lead and 1 point for most laps lead.

1 point will be given to the pole sitter.

1 point will be given to the driver that gained the most positions during a race.

Winner of a race gets an extra 3 points.

Complete 100% of the laps with out an incident point an extra 5 points will be awarded. (This reward is given out so it rewards the drivers for safe racing)

For every 4 incident points a driver accumulates during a race will be deducted 1 point. Eg. If a driver has 11 incident points from one race he/she will have 2 points deducted from their championship points.

Drivers MUST participate in half of the races, in a season, in order to be rewarded with provisionals.  Provisionals are given to any driver that did not participate in a race, but is still rewarded championship points.  Provisionals will be given once a driver completes 50% of the races in the season.  Eg.  If there is a 10 race season, a driver must complete 5 races before they are given provisional points
